The Perfect Father’s Day Gift Idea
Over the years, I’ve done a lot of gift guides for the men in our lives. And while I love a record player, beer mug or nice pair of socks as much as the next wife, I decided to do a little something different this year.
I’ve always been a big fan of gifting experiences. A hand-written note, a good photo and an adventure are my favorite things to give. And now that the kids are getting to the age where they can actually sit through things, it’s so fun to involve them too.
He gets to watch sports with his family, the kids get exposed to a live game (and concession stand snacks, which, let’s be honest, might be their favorite part!) and I look like wife of the year!
To make the perfect theme gift, I’m pairing our tickets with a few photos of him and the kids playing soccer over the years and a note about how special it is that he’s teaching them his love of athletics and that they’ll one day look back on this time with their dad and (hopefully) remember it fondly.
The International Champions Cup is the world’s premier summer soccer tournament featuring the world’s top professional players and clubs like Real Madrid, FC Bayern and Arsenal to name a few.
This is your chance to witness world-class soccer in person and see the top soccer players in the world compete. The International Champions Cup is an amazing experience for fans of all ages (even Ollie!).
This year, the ICC will host 11 matches in the United States in some of the country’s most iconic stadiums. We’ll be heading to the East Rutherford one in late July, but check out the full schedule to see if there’s one near you. It’s not too late to buy online, print out the order and wrap them up for Sunday! I guarantee you, he won’t be expecting it and he’ll be pleasantly surprised. Score major points (pun intended) this Father’s Day!
